I recently added more memory to an old laptop we have around the house and thought others might like to see how easy it is.

Staring at the RAM cover.

Take the RAM cover off to see what is underneath.

Pull the metal clips apart on the edges of the original ram. The ram will slowly pop out.

Insert the two new sticks of RAM.

Push slowly until you hear them snap into the clips.

Reboot and behold... a faster computer.  $30 for 2 GHz of ram and 20 minutes later we have a working laptop.
